Bad times for the skin. After suffering from “masked” caused by prolonged wearing of the mask, the variations in temperature and ambient humidity weaken it, all the more so if it is sensitive. To rehydrate and soothe it, we put on natural beauty masks! Full of active ingredients and devoid of controversial ingredients (silicones, mineral oils, etc.), they are also, most often, very economical. Find out how to make a hydrating mask with banana powder, obtained with puree of the exotic fruit (4 to 6kg are necessary for 1kg of powder).

The banana mask, for which skin types?
For dry or dehydrated skin, which has a tendency to tighten, with areas of redness which reflect the inflammation and irritation of this type of skin.

The benefits of this homemade hydrating mask:
It boosts the hydration of the face and restores the hydrolipidic film, the protective barrier of the epidermis, by fighting against the loss of water from which dry skin suffers.

2 tablespoons of banana powder
2 tablespoons of water or hydrosol
1 teaspoon of avocado oil

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients until you get a smooth dough.
Adjust with water if necessary until the desired consistency is achieved.

How to use the banana hydrating mask:
Distribute the paste in a thick and even layer all over the face, avoiding the eye and mouth area.
Leave on for 10 minutes
Rinse thoroughly with clean water, possibly using a sponge. Be careful not to let the mask dry on your face, as this may dry out your skin. In this case, spray a little water or hydrosol on your face to moisten the paste.
